about

Song Of Mourning is an elegy for what is lost. It is a dirge of sorts, a catharsis for grief and pain. John Muir Teaches us that wilderness holds the key to self-discovery as well as a profound source for understanding the human condition and our place in nature. With such a drastic devastation of the wilderness for the engines of progress, commerce and industry, we mourn the loss of ourselves in the process, the loss of our humanity, our natures, our connection to the planet, the meaning in our lives and our very existence as a species.
