Conceived during the dreary Northwest winter of 2011, guitarist Paris McClusky and bassist Zach Castañon began the group as
a seedling of riff-laden escapism. That spring, drummer Jen Laboranti galvanized the sound that became Shadows.
Beneath the shadows of the mountains, we dwell. Diminutive, though we are, we fill the vast spaces with the songs of Shadows.
